EVENT DATES:
Y Not Festival 2026: Thursday 30th July – Sunday 2nd August 2026.

General weekend tickets cover Friday 31 July – Sunday 2 August only.

A Thursday Entry Upgrade is required if you wish to arrive on Thursday 30th July.

GATE OPENING TIMES:
Y NOT 2026 Gate times will be announced closer to the event.

BOX OFFICE OPENING TIMES:

You can leave and re-enter the site as you wish throughout the weekend, please keep your wristband on. Please not you will NOT be allowed to re-enter the site with alcohol once you have been issued your wristband.

The ticket tiers are simply different prices and they do not get you any different access. The only tickets that get you upgraded access are the upgrade tickets.

With the incredible demand for Tickets in recent years, we introduced Tiered Ticketing to ensure a fair opportunity for everyone to buy at a reasonable price. Tiered tickets are simply tickets at different prices which allows us to offer our Super Early bird and Early Bird tickets to reward those who purchase early.

ADULT WEEKEND
This Ticket allows those aged 18 and above access to Y Not Festival from Friday – Sunday.

YOUTH WEEKEND
This Ticket allows those aged 13-17 access to Y Not Festival from Friday – Sunday.

ADULT FAMILY WEEKEND
This Ticket allows those aged 18 and above access to Y Not Festival from Friday – Sunday in the Family Camping field.

YOUTH FAMILY WEEKEND
This Ticket allows those aged 13-17 access to Y Not Festival from Friday – Sunday in the Family Camping field.

CHILD WEEKEND (6-12)
This Ticket allows those aged 6-12 access to Y Not Festival from Friday – Sunday.

CHILD WEEKEND (5 & UNDER)
This Ticket allows those aged 5 & under access to Y Not Festival from Friday – Sunday.
Under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (21+) at all times.
Child weekend tickets have access to General Camping, Family camping & Glamping, in line with their accompanying adult.

THURSDAY ENTRY
Start the party a day earlier and secure your camping spot with our Thursday Entry! Thursday Upgrade must be bought in conjunction with an Adult / Youth / Family or Child Camping ticket.

Yes — you can can either visit the ticket page and select the ‘Already Ordered Tickets?’ option and log in with your order details to add to your existing order. Or log into their order via the Customer Service page and add to your tickets that way.

YES - We strongly advise you to pre-book your parking before your arrival at Y Not Festival. On the day parking passes are much more expensive, so please book in advance to save your money and secure your parking spot at the festival.

Parking Passes grant you access to the car park from Friday to Monday morning, unless you have purchased a Thursday Entry Upgrade. One parking pass required per vehicle.

BY CAR
Our car parks are a short walk from the campsites. We encourage customers to share vehicles where possible to reduce the impact of vehicles on our site, we have a charge for parking.

Parking passes in advance are £30+bf and on the day parking passes will be much more expensive. We strongly advise you pre-book your parking before your arrival at Y Not Festival to save money and secure your spot. One Parking Pass per vehicle is required.

Pick up and drop off point
There is a pick up and drop off area located at the end of Mouldridge Lane. This will be clearly signposted as you enter the festival. This will be a track matted area that is easy to drive on & off. Please do not use the side of the roads/lanes as a pickup and drop off point, this will not only cause issues with traffic but also is considered very unsafe.

Buxton: approx 20 mins away by car/bus
Matlock: Approx 17 mins away by car/bus

By Taxi
Please direct Taxis to the Pick Up and Drop Off location. If you need to pre-book a taxi, we recommend that you do this as soon as possible. While we don’t have an official taxi partner, we can recommend the following taxi firms:

The safety of all Y Notter's is of highest priority to us. Please see our age restrictions and ID requirements below:

16 & OVER:
Anyone 16 or over is welcome to attend the festival on their own without an adult, however, you will be asked to show proof of age on entry to access the event.

We accept the following forms of ID:

Your current passport – photocopies are accepted to gain entry but NOT to purchase alcohol at the bars.
Your UK Driver’s Licence or Provisional Licence
Citizen Card

Please note we cannot accept other forms of ID. Photocopies will only be accepted to gain entry but the real document will have to be shown to purchase alcohol.

UNDER 16's:

If you are
under the age of 16 you will not be allowed entry into the festival without a responsible adult (21+). Maximum 4 x U16s per responsible adult.   

CHALLENGE 25 POLICY:
We will be implementing
‘Challenge 25’ at the entry gates, so please have your IDs ready.
To prove you are 16 or older you are able to bring a photocopy of your passport. 

We operate a strict ‘Challenge 25’ policy at all bars. Passport, Driver’s Licence, Validate UK or Citizen Card are accepted.  

Photocopies will not be accepted as a form of ID to purchase alcohol.

Alcohol brought to the festival must comply with event regulations, anyone aged 18 and over can bring in limited amounts and types of alcohol. You may be asked for proof of age. Strictly no glass is permitted. 

Alcohol will only be permitted on first entry to the main gates. Please note, you will not be allowed to re-enter the site with alcohol once you’ve got your wristband. If you plan to make multiple trips to your vehicle upon arrival, we recommend bringing your alcohol through the gates on your first trip. 

Personal Alcohol cannot be brought into the arena, it will be on sale at Festival Bars subject to our bar operators ‘Challenge 25’ ID policy. 

Quantity Per Person

Up to 24 cans of beer/ lager/ cider or alcopops (a mixture is fine) 

Or 

1 Bottle of Spirit (70cl Max – must be decanted. NO GLASS) 

Or 

2 Bottles of Wine (75cl Max – must be decanted. NO GLASS) 

Y Not Festival reserves the right to confiscate any alcohol we deem not to be appropriate for the customer in question. 

Please drink responsibly, we really want all our festival-goers to stay safe at this year’s festival. Please don’t take any risks. 

YES - We encourage you to bring the little ones and join in the festival fun with the whole family!

Bring your little Y Notters to Strawberry Fields, our dedicated Kids Area, packed with free activities and facilities all weekend! Kids of all ages can enjoy arts and crafts, performances, story-telling, circus skills, kids raves, and workshops for the whole family.

While your little ones are off enjoying themselves this is a chance for you to relax and enjoy the festival away from the hustle and bustle of the main event, whilst still within earshot of your favourite bands!

Y Not prides itself on being an inclusive event, Access facilities, PA Tickets are available via application on our website.

If your plans have changed and you won’t be able to join us this Summer, you can list your tickets with our official resale partner, Tixel. Please don’t use any other ticketing reseller or social media as these tickets can’t be verified and may not be valid.

To enter the family campsite you require a family wristband. These are at no extra cost, just specify your ticket type when purchasing your festival tickets. If you have already bought tickets and wish to change them please get in touch with SEE tickets HERE.

Please note, we cannot guarantee any changes can be made to your order and there won’t be an opportunity to change ticket types on the day of the festival.

Purchase your tickets for Y Not via our Ticket Page. If you are applying for our PA Ticket Scheme please DO NOT purchase a ticket for the person acting as your PA as this is allocated once your application is approved by the Access Team.

No we do not sell day tickets, we only sell weekend tickets.

The Family Campsite is an area allocated for families.

Family tickets are needed for any adult/youth wanting to gain access to the campsite.

Any child with a ticket will automatically have access to the family, general or glamping campsite if their accompanying adult has the same.

Access and availability to family camping is limited (you will also need a specific wristband to gain entry).

Want to drive your bed directly to the festival? Well look no further, purchase a Live-in Vehicle Ticket! Live-in Vehicle pitches are sized 7x7m maximum. You can have one tent or awning alongside your live-in vehicle for guests providing this fits in your 7x7m pitch.

Only purpose-built (fitted sleeping and fitted cooking or washing facilities) live-in vehicles will be permitted entry to the Live-in Vehicle field. Unsuitable vehicles such as unconverted vans, buses and cars (unless towing a caravan) will not be allowed entry to the live-in vehicle field and will be redirected to the festival car park where it is prohibited to sleep in vehicles.

There are no height restrictions to enter the Live In Vehicles campsites.

Please note that live-in vehicles:

• Will not be permitted entry into the family camping area

• Only require one live-in vehicle ticket per vehicle

• Will require a general entry ticket for all guests

• Are allowed in the access campsite but you will need to contact us to confirm this prior to arrival as space is limited

Children aged 5 and under are allowed free entry to the festival, but you still need to select this ticket when purcahsing your weekend tickets, so that we know they are coming with you.

Children aged between 6-12 cost £5, but there will be an extra charge if you wish to upgrade to paradise peaks or Thursday upgrades.

Paradise Peaks is an upgraded premium campsite.

Tickets aren’t assigned to specific names, so there's no need to update the names on bookings.

Please get in touch with our ticket partners by managing your order and using our customer service contact form. Please confirm exactly what you were meant to book.

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to rectify the booking as all tickets are purchased on a non refundable and exchangeable basis, but the team will try their best to assist you.

Payment Plan FAQ’s

Unfortunately this is not possible, the payments will be taken on the dates specified when you purchased the ticket.

If you miss a payment due to a lost card or lack of funds See Tickets will contact you via email. If you miss 1 payment you will then be given up to 20 days to make a payment.

The payment card used to pay an instalment cannot be changed, however should the original payment card fail to charge, our customer service team will be in touch for new card details. This new card will then be stored for further payments until the ticket / package has been paid in full.
